I'm a PhD Candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the School of Computer Science, University of Galway, Ireland. Under the supervision of Dr. James McDermott and Dr. Colm O'Riordan, I specialise in interpretable machine learning through symbolic regression and genetic programming, developing transparent AI models that balance accuracy with explainability. My research includes algorithm development, optimisation techniques, extrapolation modelling with knowledge distillation, and applications to climate-energy modelling.

Beyond work, I find joy in exploring creative projects and sharing knowledge through my research!
